The iPhone 12 Mini is Apple’s most interesting bet in years

The introduction of the original iPhone, with its “huge” 3.5 “screen,
the change in look-and-feel of the iPhone 4 (and the corresponding antenna-gate), the growth of the screens to the territory of more than 5.5 ″ with the iPhone 6 Plus, and the bet of Face ID of the iPhone X that changed its face to iPhone ever since. Watch Complete iPhone series at kissanime
Now, with the arrival of 2020 and the launch of the new iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple retakes the look of the iPhone 4, produces its first 5G-compatible devices, and launches the first mobile device with 5nm based processors (how many nm does Intel go in?)

And although the new iPhone 12 Pro is simply impressive (I’m writing an article on the subject) I think Apple’s most interesting bit is that of the iPhone 12 Mini.

Take a look at the specs:

The iPhone 12 Mini has the same processor (A14 Bionic) as the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max, It has the same Super Retina XDR screen of the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. It has more pixels per inch (476 ppi) than all the other iPhones released this week,
It has the same cameras as the iPhone 12. It is equally compatible with the new wireless charging technology and Magsafe accessories as the rest of the devices launched at the event. It has the same Ceramic Shield technology that allows the screen to be up to 4x stronger and Offers the same level of water and dust resistance as its bigger siblings.

On the left is the iPhone 12 Mini, on the right the iPhone 8 Plus. What do you see Two diametrically different teams, especially in size? The Mini is the smallest of the current lineup, the 8 Plus was the largest iPhone released in its year.

Now, if I tell you that the screen of the iPhone 12 Mini is only 0.1 ″ smaller than that of the iPhone 8 Plus, but that it has more than 450 thousand additional pixels, that the contrast ratio of the Mini is 2,000,000: 1 while that the iPhone 8 Plus is 1,300: 1, that its volume is almost 40% smaller and that it weighs 67 grams (33%) less than the iPhone 8 Plus, what do you see?

I see an absolute work of engineering, unpretentious, but super attractive. And I dare to say that a good number of users will see the best option on the market and that the iPhone 12 Mini will take the position that the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 have played in previous years: that of the best-selling smartphone on the planet.

It has complex competition, especially with the iPhone SE whose price is simply illogical. But I think that the new design, the generous size of its screen, and the small footprint that it offers to make the iPhone 12 Mini an irresistible option.
